Home to the largest conference centre on the Pacific Rim and two expansive meeting rooms, the resort is well suited for both intimate retreats and larger gatherings. Tin Wis is derived from tinwis, meaning “calm waters,” reflecting the way the waves soften as they enter this protected cove, a place that continues to offer a sense of ease and refuge for all who come. Since opening in 1993 as a 56-room property, the resort has grown alongside the community, expanding in 1996 to 85 oceanfront rooms, each one thoughtfully positioned to take in the view and the rhythm of the coast.
