Established in 2001, Tla-o-qui-aht Development Corporation (TDC) is the economic development arm of the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation, based in načiks (Tofino). We manage the Nation’s business assets and investments to drive long-term economic growth, provide sustainable employment, and foster lasting community prosperity.
Guided by traditional values and a commitment to responsible development, TDC builds strong partnerships to generate collective wealth while ensuring a sustainable, self-reliant future for all Nation members. We aim to:

TDC manages a diverse portfolio of businesses in the Pacific Rim region, including:
- Tin Wis Resort: An 85-room oceanfront resort located on tinwis beach.
- Tsawaak RV Resort & Campground: A culturally welcoming campground near tinwis.
- Canoe Creek, Haa-ak-suuk Creek, and Winchie Creek Hydro: Run-of-the-river hydroelectric projects.
- TFN Construction: A local construction and development firm.
- TFN Seafoods: Harvesting and seafood distribution operations.
- TFN Forestry: Sustainable forest management operations.
