Tla-o-qui-aht Development Corporation is proud to support Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation members in turning business ideas from concept to reality. We provide hands-on guidance and practical support at every stage of the business journey — from early ideas and planning to growth and long-term success. Our goal is to strengthen local entrepreneurship, create meaningful employment, and support economic self-determination for present and future generations.


What services are being provided?
1-on-1 business consulting sessions with our staff to help you get started with your business idea or help develop your pre-existing business plan.
Access to a network of professionals in and around the community who have experience in a variety of sectors, including tourism management, construction, project management, fishing, and more.
Currently, we do not offer a structured financial support program, but we can help community members apply for loans, grants and other financial resources dedicated to indigenous entrepreneurs.
Who can access these services?
TFN community members at no cost.
Existing entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, current employees, on-reserve, off-reserve, etc. If you’re a TFN member who is looking for business support, you qualify!

Stop by our office (B-1119 Pacific Rim Highway) during business hours (Mon-Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm).
Drop-in’s welcome to book appointments, but all meetings must be pre-scheduled to make effective use of your time.
